Jorge Miguel Matias

I live and work in the Douro Valley, where my focus is on wine, food, and slow ways of experiencing place.

I run O’Porco, a small wine and tapas bar in Pinhão, and Marmelão, a family project in Provesende dedicated exclusively to pét-nat wine. Alongside these, I offer e-bike rental for those who prefer to explore the Douro independently and at their own pace.

Everything I do is guided by simplicity, patience, and respect for the land—no rush, no formulas, just time, people, and place.
